Grandma’s Grapes are Better?
My kids can really drive me crazy some times when trying to get them to eat, and I am even one who does not make an issue of it. I really would like them to eat a balanced meal and try fruits and veggies but I know forcing them can only lead to food issues later on in life so I just keep on encouraging and begging them to eat some. I started having them pick out their own fruits and veggies at the supermarket to spark some interest. They want Grapes, every time but would never eat them. I told people they didn’t like them. Then, I find out they eat them at my mom’s house. I thought I was buying the wrong color, or brand. I even went shopping with my mom and we both bought the same grapes. My kids ate them at her house but not at mine. I asked them why and my four year old said ” I only eat grapes at grandmas, just like I only pick up my toys at school” So is it his mission to just be difficult for me?

OMG I cant believe he said that lmao…. at least he is honest… My daughter tends to be open to foods when she isn’t at home too.
That is funny - and typical. My son is very particular about who he lets do stuff. Only mommy can stir his chocolate milk, only grammy can play with his Elmo, only gramps can play with his tractor, only gramps can help him pee standing up, only daddy can give him his dinner plate. The list could go on and on.
